Mario and Luigi Birthday Card

My daughter has a party to go to today and since I hate to buy cards when I can make one she chose to make a Mario Bros. card for her friend.  We used Everyday Paper Dolls, Mickey and Friends and Create a Critter. The face stamps are from Peachykeenstamps.com .   Didn't take too long and I think it turned out cute.

Tea Party Scrapbook Page

If I ever get any followers, you will learn that I LOVE Disney.  I eat,  breath and sleep Disney. Our family goes to Disney World every 2 years. We are proud DVC(Disney Vacation Club) members.  On our December 2009 trip, I took my youngest 2 children to the Grand floridian Tea.  My husband and oldest son went to Disney Quest, they aren't into the girl tea. The little guy had no choice LOL but he had a good time.  I have a bunch of pictures I took during the tea but this one I really thought was cute.

All paper that has pink on it is from the My Mind's Eye Laundry Line.  The brown paper is from the Paper Studio, I got it from a scrapbook club last year.  I used a Fiskars punch for the flower border.  The stickers used are from Thickers.  I cut the words "Tea Party" from the Cricut Songbird cart. The T P t and y are cut at 2 in. The rest are at 2 1/2in.

Quick Card

I always wait to do things the last minute.  My son had his best buddy's birthday yesterday so I made a quick little card for him.  I used Creat a Critter and Plantin Schoolbook.  Not sure where I got the background paper, I think Michael's. the 5 was cut at 7 1/4 in and the snake was cut at 4 1/4 in.

Scrapbook "Nook"

Here is a quick picture of my "nook".  I feel like I have been waiting forever for this to be finished.  I have the best husband ever and he did his best to get this in order for me.   He painted the room and got it all set up for me.  We even took a little detour on our trip to Disney to stop at an Ikea to get some things for my room.   So the hanging baskets are from Ikea, the white cube is from AC Moore, the magazine holders on top are from Target.  I use them for my scrapbook mags and also all my scrapbook club paper.  The paper organizer was from Hobby Lobby. I tried to make good use out of all the coupons the stores offer. I try to save money so I can spend it in other places LOL. Sorry the table is messy, I am still trying to bring more stuff from the old room downstairs to the nook.

New Room, New Blog

After many months of patiently waiting fo rmy husband to finish my scrapbook 'nook' it is finally done!  I used to have a scrapbook room but my 2 boys need their own space so I gave it up so they can have their own rooms.  So, after months and months my nook is finally done!  I can't tell you how excited I am about this.  I have years of photo's that need to be done and tons of cards to make.  I hope I get some followers to help me and maybe I will inspire some people as well.

I will post photo's of my nook when my husband puts up my light tonight but for now I wanted to share this cute card I made for my best friend's 40th birthday.  We both are huge fans of the Wizard of Oz and the Broadway show Wicked. Her party had a 'Wicked' theme.
I used Paper Doll Dress Up to cut the dolls and castle.  I used my Gypsy to weld the words together.  The face stamps are from PeachyKeenStamps.com .
